How's gonna be the first

aerialism lesson ?

WHAT CLOTHES DO I HAVE TO WEAR ?

Running tights or leggings or shirts you can tuck in are best. Avoid baggy clothes and zippers that can get stuck on the fabric. You'll want to cover the backs of your knees, your stomach, your lower back, and your armpits for certain moves to avoid friction burns and scrapes.

WHAT CAN I EAT BEFORE AN AERIAL CLASS ?

Hanging upside down on a full stomach is no fun, but you'll be working hard, so you don't want to show up feeling weak or hungry. I like to pack a nutrition bar or a banana to munch on if I need it, along with a big bottle of water to drink during and after class.

COME WITH AN OPEN MIND
Most people don't realize just how capable they are at succeeding at flying moves. It may take a few tries, but imagine that the hammock or silks are your ground. That makes it easier to let go and fly.

Bonus: Since the movements are all new to you, you'll feel totally inspired and accomplished after just one class. The post-Antigravity endorphin rush is real !
